Breaking: Rafa Benitez willing to work in changed role.

This will come as a surprise to many, but Rafa Benitez is willing to work in a change role which the FSG are set to introduce. This was learnt by our sources, However, the stumbling block is the past record of issues Rafa had with power and transfer budget both at Valencia and Liverpool.

It is learnt, that Rafa believes that the new system can work only if the Manager is given the final say in players and that his input is most important on what kind of players are to be looked at. Our source, who interviewed Rafa for a TV channel few months ago claims he is ready to take the Liverpool job in the changed role.

If Rafa Benitez comes back, Liverpool will get another phase of Rafaluation, the first one in all honesty was a terrific one. This one can only get better. It time for the FSG to the wise decision a give Rafa the job he so much loves.

  3. Why why why does everyone want him back? Can't we just move on?! In 2008/09, his LFC team was the best in the league, but he didn't deliver the title due to negative tactics. Then his poor man management started the decay that is with us now. Forget Istanbul and move on...

  5. Rafa took the club to another level! We were feared across Europe throughout his reign. The players we cheered this season Reina, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson, Maxi, Kuyt, Lucas and Shelvey all signed by Rafa!
    Let the Rafalution comense.

  6. Exactly Dave - good manager but not great.

People always forget that he was the reason we were 3-0 against Milan at half time anyway - crazy decision not to start Hamann.

Sick of the everyone making out he's a modern day Shankly...

  7. Took the club to another level? Seriously?! The club with 18 League titles, but he took us to another level by regularly finishing 3rd or 4th and only winning 2 trophies?

    Deluded...

  9. All managers gotta start somewhere Gib. Martinez wouldn't be my first choice (Capello, AVB, Deschamps, Klopp, De Boer better options) but if that's the manager FSG pick then so be it
